We are happy to announce that Hope Helps TN has been chosen to receive $3000 from the EFSP Phase 39 Grant awarded to Hawkins County to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county along with $6000 from ARPA-R Act of 2021 which are administered through EFSP local board. The Federal funds are made available through the Dept. of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program. The selection was made by a National Board that is chaired by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency and consists of representatives from American Red Cross; Catholic Charities, USA; National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA; The Jewish Federations of North America, The Salvation Army; and, United Way Worldwide.
